Food / Medicine

We are deeply honored to share this immune boosting recipe from our dear friend Peeyush -
She is a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery) from Kurukshetra University and has been practicing pure Ayurved for over 30 years.

1. Cloves (laung)
2. Kali Ilaichi (large cardamom)/simple cardamom
3. Pepper (kali mirch)
4. Botanical name Glycyrrhiza Glabra (mulathhi or Yashtimadhu) - Liquorice (British English) or licorice (American English) is the common name of Glycyrrhiza glabra.
5. Dried Holy Basil (tulsi) leaves
6.Cinnamon (daalchini)

All equal as per need. Grind them in granular form (not very fine). Take only a teaspoon of it and boil in a cup of water. Cover the pan with a plate. When the water is reduced by half, let the mixture simmer for a while. Have only two spoons of it lukewarm twice-thrice daily. The pulp can be used as mouth freshener.

Use honey before going to sleep. Have a small glass of a mixture of honey and lemon with lukewarm water in the morning.

Breathe deep and
Enjoy!

Additionally;

The suggested elements have anti- virus, anti fungal & anti- bacterial properties. To add, turmeric, ajwain, aswagandha, lemon ginger, vit. C will conclude the issue. To simplify, take lemon water & citrus fruits daily to get rid of current pandemic.
With regards.
